We do not track your habits and we do not sell targeted advertising.

Who is the data controller
Biathlon Azzurro APS, Via dei Paracadutisti 5, 25032 Chiari (BS), Italy. Email: info@biathlonazzurro.it. For the processing of other personal data (for example messages sent through the contact form) see the privacy policy.
What cookies are
They are small text files that a website stores in your browser to remember information from one page to the next. Some are essential (for example for security), others are used by third parties to recognise you on other websites too: the latter require your consent. The same rule applies to similar technologies, such as storing data in the browser or loading content from other websites.
Technical cookies
They do not require consent because without them the site would not work or would not be secure.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
ba_consent | biathlonazzurro.it | Remembers your cookie choice, so that the banner does not reappear on every page. | 6 months |
ba-fanta | biathlonazzurro.it | Only for Fantabiathlon players: keeps you logged in to your account, so you don't have to log in again on every visit. Removed when you log out. | up to 400 days, renewed on every visit |
__cf_bm, cf_clearance | Cloudflare (the site's provider) | Security: they tell visitors apart from automated programs and protect the site from attacks. They only appear when needed. | from 30 minutes to 1 year |
Visitor statistics
To know how many people read the site we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies, does not store anything in your browser and does not recognise you from one visit to the next: it only collects aggregated data (pages viewed, country, type of device). This is why no consent is needed.
External content (with your consent)
Some articles include content from other platforms. Until you give your consent, you see a placeholder box instead and your browser does not contact those services. If you load them, the platform may set its own cookies and receive data such as your IP address, according to its own privacy policy.
| Service | What we load | Privacy policy |
|---|---|---|
| YouTube (Google) | videos in articles and on the About us page, in “privacy-enhanced mode” | Read |
| Spotify | podcast episodes | Read |
| X (Twitter) | posts quoted in articles | Read |
| Instagram and Facebook (Meta) | posts and videos quoted in articles | Read |
| Twitch | live streams and videos | Read |
| Google Docs and Drive | documents and standings attached to some articles | Read |
Older articles may occasionally contain content from other websites (for example magazines or sports news outlets): the same rule applies, and the placeholder box always shows where the content comes from.
What we do not use
- profiling cookies or targeted advertising;
- analytics tools that identify you (such as Google Analytics);
- fonts or scripts loaded from external services: the site's fonts are hosted by us;
- social buttons that track you: the “share” buttons are plain links and load nothing until you use them.
How to manage your consent
On your first visit the banner asks what you prefer: “Necessary only” (or the X) and “Accept all” carry the same weight, and with “Customise” you choose category by category. You can also load a single item of content without accepting the others. Your choice is valid for 6 months, after which we ask you again. You can change it at any time:
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings (for example Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge): if you also block technical cookies, some features may not work.
Your rights
You can ask us for information about the data concerning you at any time by writing to info@biathlonazzurro.it. If you believe the processing is not correct, you can contact the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, or the authority of the country where you live.
This is a translation: the Italian version prevails.
