How relays are counted
In the athlete statistics every relay runner gets the team's result, as the IBU does. By nation, venue and season a relay counts only once. You can include or leave them out with “Relays”. Qualification heats don't count.
Older data
Before 1990 the IBU archive has gaps. We rebuilt the World Cup races from 1977 to 1991 and the Olympics from 1960 to 1980 ourselves, but often only the top 10 or the podium are known: wins and podiums are complete, averages and percentages for those years are not. A few relays are still missing, and athletes from that era without an IBU code have a provisional one. Course, range and shooting times exist from the early 2000s. USSR, East and West Germany stay separate unless you choose “Merge historical nations”.
